Here you can find our top frequently asked questions about sticker printing.
If there's a question you can't see here, feel free to drop us a message to hello@nofuss.co
To start with you need to ensure that your artwork is set up to a minimum of 300dpi at the size you want your stickers printed.
To get the best possible print, we recomend a vectored file.
If unsure, use our downloadable template via our product page.
We can accept most file types including JPG, PDF, PSD, PNG, AI. If using Illustrator remember to outline any fonts and embed any images, alternatively export it to PDF. If your file is incorrectly formatted it may result in a delay with your order.
A quick reminder that you need to make sure it is set to 300dpi at the size you want your stickers printing and we always recommend a vectored file.
You can show us how you want your stickers cutting by simply adding a line to the image and clearly identify it as the cut line, (you can also add details to the notes when placing your order).
Alternatively, you can demonstrate your cut line on a separate layer on your print file.
If you would like us to, we can add a cut line for you. We just ask that you let us know in the notes/check the proof required box when placing an order if you would like a proof of the cut line before we go to print.
You can select to receive a proof on our product page.
If you provide the cut line on your print file we won't provide a proof unless we have to make any significant changes in order to produce the best quality stickers for you.
If you do not provide a cut line on your print file then we can add one for you. You can be assured that we will use our expertise to add a cut line that will create the best custom shape for your design, however if you would like to receive a proof before going to print then you just need to select this/add a note when placing your order.
All our stickers are digitally printed in CMYK so make sure you set up your artwork in this colour profile.
Your final product will be a close match to what you can see on screen but we can't guarantee an exact colour match.
Remember to check your colour profile before sending your print file! Anything set up in RGB will be converted to CMYK so won't look as bright on your printed stickers.
We require at last 2mm bleed around your design. For example a 10cm sticker should be set up to 10.4cm to account for the bleed.
If the background of your sticker design is a solid colour we can add the bleed for you.
Bleed is used to ensure you do not lose any of your design or end up with an unwanted border on the edge of your stickers.
2mm bleed gives us the level of tolerance needed for our printing and cutting methods.
The inks and the vinyl are designed to last 1-3 years (althought we have certainly seen them last longer!) It all depends on where you stick them!
All of our stickers have a gloss finish.
Currently we are just offering stickers through the website which you can order here.
If you're interested in sign vinyl then we can provide more detail and a custom quote if you email hello@nofuss.co
Although the vinyl is not recyclable, all our stickers are made to last. All of our packaging is recyclable and we continue to take steps to reduce the carbon footprint of our production processes.
From the time we approve your order we aim to deliver your stickers within 5 working days (depending upon the delivery method chosen at checkout). Please note: if you require a proof or there are any issues with your submitted artwork there may be a small delay with your order.
